Health Match BC is a free health professional recruitment service and is part of BCHealthCareers.ca. We provide expert advice to help physicians navigate licensing and registration requirements, and can provide support with immigration, if needed.

Since 1999 Health Match BC has successfully helped thousands of Canadian and internationally educated health professionals to establish their career in British Columbia, Canada. We are currently recruiting physicians on behalf of BC’s publicly funded health employers. If you are a physician considering employment in BC, or a publicly funded health agency in BC, we can help.

Navigation Support

Health Match BC provides “Navigation Services” for international medical graduates (IMGs). Our navigators work one-on-one with IMGs to support them through the steps necessary for obtaining registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC). If you are an IMG living in British Columbia or interested in relocating to BC, our navigators are available to answer your questions, provide up-to-date information and guidance on licensing requirements, and connect you to job opportunities across the province.

Immigration Support

To meet the demand for skilled and qualified health care professionals, British Columbia introduced the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). This program is a pathway to expedite the Canadian permanent residence application process for health care workers. The Health Match BC Navigation team will support you as you navigate your BC PNP application and obtain your Canadian permanent resident status.
